I previously responded to Julie's comments about not immunizing positively
and I wanted to clarify that while I agree there can be risks to immunizing,
both of my kids are immunized. I just think we need to be cautious, it is
not black and white, there are some valid reasons not to immunize and I
believe that damaged immune systems are a possiblity. I haven't myself
really decided which is better. I know effects of these diseases can be
devastating but living with a learning impaired child as a result of a
reaction to a immunization isn't easy either. It just isn't shouldn't be
thought of as a given or as completely safe. Once again educate, educate,
educate!
Ilene (boy I'm probably really getting the radical label)
