Dear Nancy,

While I certainly understand (and agree) that c/section is not PC, I do have
to correct one thing; yes, mothers are quite unfortunately referred to as the
c/sec in 23-A or the vaginal in 32-B.  (Or the gallbladder or hyst....)  and
the list goes on.  Very sad, and very true.

While I'm on the subject --- for all of you that receive the JHL, please,
please read Diane Wiessinger's wonderful editorial "Watch Your Language" on
page 1 in the March, 1996 issue.  It is excellent; super food for thought,
and expressed so eloquently.  Thanks Diane!
