Dear friends,
I had to chuckle at the thought of homogenized breast milk. Mothers
who pump as their children get older can see the change in milk fat
from the beginning of the pumping to the end. Babies get more
efficient at getting to the hindmilk more quickly as they get older,
but there is still foremilk and hindmilk. Now if the mother uses
ultrasound to break up caked breasts perhaps that would homogenize
her milk. I understand there is a creaming effect on breast milk- if
you sleep on your back the cream tends to rise to the top, but no
documented homogenizing mechanism. Hmm... I wonder if jogging or
jumping on a minitramp would help??? Oh well food for thought.
