Hey Jaye,

Good luck on getting an acurate prolactin level.  I can't remember how old you 
said the baby was.  But if she is past the 6 -8 week point or even sooner with 
some references, you cannot get an accurate prolactin level unless it is drawn 
while the baby is nursing.  Most labs wont' go for that but you can try.  I 
started making "milk" again after my boy was weaned for about 1 year.  I 
started teaching moms how to breastfeed and kept grabbing my left side to 
teach positioning.  That was when I did research into prolactin levels.  Mine 
was normal, but my breast was NOT>>>
