I was interviewed by Boston's CBS affiliate
http://boston.cbslocal.com/2012/05/10/did-time-magazine-go-too-far-with-breastfeeding-cover/
and Fox 25 in Boston
http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/18254109/2012/05/10/time-cover-shows-3-year-old-breastfeeding
for
the Time Magazine story on attachment parenting. All in all they did a
pretty good job of covering this without sensationalizing it too much. I
would really like to know how many hits the Time Magazine website got on
this story, how many hard copies were bought, and what the sales increase
of the magazine translates into in terms of dollars. What a great way to
sell more magazines and increase profits, all at the expense of
breastfeeding. Too bad Time can't come up with ways to promote
breastfeeding minus the provocative covers.
