Hello again. A mother who has suffered 8 years with endometriosis and
finally conceived and had a baby, is breastfeeding, and asked me how long she
could breastfeed as she doesn't want to suffer with the pain of endometriosis
for a long time. I told her that she could breastfeed as long as she wanted
to. I talked about LAM, and that probably if she exclusively breastfed for
at least 6 months, regularly around the clock, that she may delay the onset
of her periods. She also wants to have another baby, partly for the same
reason, of not having her periods. Any one have any experience with the
same? or suggestions. Thanks again, Kathy Bodden
