I would like to acknowledge that contrary to the letter linked to Medela
have marketed their bottles and teats in ways that breach the Code outside
of the US and Canada; saw marketing materials myself here in Australia,
heard of reports from the Middle East. Where else? Since the marketing
materials I saw in Australia had been originally written in Europe I can
only assume that they were also distributed there. Anyone else like to add
more locations. When spin contains one inaccuracy you might to wonder what
other "problematic statements" are contained within.
I'd like to answer the question posed by Michael Larsson's, that was not
answered in his statement "Is WHO Code compliance enough to effectively
promote breastfeeding?"....No, of course not, but one cannot promote
breastfeeding effectively without Code compliance.
