Re the woman w/bilateral mastectomies wanting to "simulate" her 1st BF
experience:

I'm not sure that the silicone nipple shield would add anything to the
experience, for either mom or baby; is the tissue she has in place of breast
tissue pliable and soft enough for the baby to take it into its mouth and
suck as it would at breast? If so, unless it's painful for the mom, I would
think she could just use the SNS along the "breast". Can she get donated
breastmilk?
