Another cause can be excessive stimulation or even nipple piercing! My 19
year old daughter had her nipples pierced and cleans them frequently. A
couple of months after the piercing, she began to lactate and expressed a
couple of ounces to show me. We've gone through all the screening tests so
it's not any medical issue just a side effect sometimes seen with the new
fad of nipple piercing.  I did a google and actually came up with some
other cases of this happening post piercing.
 I've discussed not stimulating the breasts so much and to watch for
mastitis but at least my daughter ow knows when she's ready and has a baby-
 her system works really well :)
