It's a two part post- sorry.

No one responded to my query about melatonin. Does that mean no one
knows?

My dh and I have a fight about this whenever it comes up, and I need
some references. We went to the Monteray Bay Aquarium again
yesterday, and I again registered my complaint with the baby bottle
display. My husband feels that I am wasting my breath protesting
something that shows gratuitous bottlefeeding, and that I'm merely
harrassing the staff. I, of course, disagree. I know that the
gratuitous showing of "bottles are how babies are fed" are part of the
bottlefeeding culture, but he won't be swayed by me. Anyone have any
good references or essays they can send my way?

Dirk, dh, btw is normally very supportive of breastfeeding, LLL, and
education, but he gets a bug up his, well, you know, about *really*
pushing it, and says I would be better off supporting the victims of
Mitch, or something "useful". (with two small children and no second
language) ARGH. Oh, well, gratuitous rant. I guess he's part of hte
"breastfeeding is just natural" cadre. :-) (Sympathy is welcome too.
:-) )
