Dear Friends
Thank you to all the many people who were kind enough to respond to my
request for assistance. To review: Baby was four months old gaining weight,
mom's milk supply dropped dramatically and baby is not happy.
I will answer the many questions first.Mom is not pregnant, no herbs or teas,
no medications, no birth control pills, no death in the family,no pacifiers,
turns TV off to avoid distractions. But there is reduced milk supply. Inquired
about planned feeds - baby does sleep through night (8hours), but if he wakes
up she brings him to bed and nurse. He loves going to breast and cuddling but
is hungry. He is not teething or sick.
Guess What- She got her period yesterday. I feel this is a good list of
areas to consider when a mothers milk supply is down and maybe someone like
would like the shared info. Thanks Again
