yeah, I wanted to add that there are also mothers who say that they are
"breastfeeding" and then you find out that they are actually not putting the
baby to their breast- just pumping or expressing- so they are "breast MILK
feeding" or human milk feeding

also out of curiosisty which came first the word nurse to mean a person who
cares for you then extrapolated to breastfeeding OR nurse meaning breastfeeding
and then extrapolated to a person who cares for you?

my point is not that any one SHOULD use the word NURSING rather that when not
discussing the act in a scientific milleu why the push to HAVE to use the word
BREASTFEEDING so society will get more used to the word breast? we use the word
"breast" as in chicken breasts, breast stroke, breast plate etc...

If anything, why not ban the "feeding" part? imagine if I ask a mother "How's
the "breastcomforting" going?" Boy! that would make a big difference!
