One of Peter's articles is available on the Internet at
http://mammary.nih.gov/reviews/lactation/Hartmann001/index.html

It briefly mentions his findings re fat content in breastmilk.

Kathleen while foremilk/hindmilk imbalance probably isn't a good descriptor
the condition caused by the infant receiving a lot of low fat breastmilk
still exists. This condition is most commonly caused by feeding management
- feeding the baby for x minutes on one breast then swapping to the other,
before getting down to the 'less full' state in the first breast when the
baby should be receiving the lovely fat-rich milk that occurs at that stage.
