Actually, she is in therapy, and is a therapist herself.

After the birth of her first child, she went through a bout of PPD that
sabotaged her breastfeeding experience and she was on antidepressants and
feeling better within a few weeks of the birth.  This time around she was
determined to breastfeed and has been battling the depression for months in
an effort to avoid taking drugs with which she and her doctor don't feel
entirely comfortable.

Still, she is reaching a point at which she is feeling pretty desperate for
relief, but having a very hard time going against her doctor's
recommendations because of her current heightened anxiety and self-doubt.
