Kathy Dettwyler asked about back-sleeping and the SIDS story.. the
symposium discussions here have resulted in the Australians following the
UK media campaign on 'back to sleep' or back sleeping, and I've also been
told today that co-sleeping is to be discouraged.. it gets curiouser and I
look forward to the official press release. The SIDRF people drew together
many experts from around the world, I'm waiting for the list to be sent to
me. The Aust SIDS Conference is in June and I will be there this year.
(Last year it was organised by Wyeth's Clinical Services, a complimentary
service whose services are used by many (most ?) major
medical/nursing/associated conferences in Australia.)
