Dear Teresa, I'm not as sure as you that pumps are more efficient :-)  A
mom, skilled at hand expression, with a decent let down seems to do a better
job to me.  No equipment to clean or forget or drag around with you!  I
always tell moms "learn how to hand express, you always have your hands with
you!  It's a learned skill, just like BF is learned or typing or playing a
piano.  Takes some practice and then it's a cinch."  I had one young mom
(who was an intern) learn so well she just squirted it right into the
bottle!

The problem is basically cultural - oh my --- touch myself- there ?!
