After that study came out, I pictured all the poor little kitties who
wouldn't nurse because Mama had been busy chasing a mouse... and all the
poor little mouselings who wouldn't nurse because Mama had been busy being
chased. Heavens sakes, most mammalian life is built around exercise - often
life-and-death exercise, and often multiple times a day. With all the
breastfeeding research that needs to be done, I sometimes marvel at what
gets chosen...

(And then there's the study that says obese women are more likely to have
trouble breastfeeding. Does anyone know what we're supposed to *do* with
that information?)
