So, my question is (bc not only have I heard this, it happens to *all* my
milk) what does the Lawrence recommendation of heating to just the point of
scald and then freezing destroy in the breastmilk besides the lipase reaction?

What will babies who are getting much of their daily bm this way missing out on?

As a side note, my sons both would lick the milk from the freezer bag as a
popsicle, but would not touch it if thawed for "drinking" -- and it was more
than an "unpleasant odor" it made me retch everytime I tasted it (each time
hoping I'd done something right, this time, until getting word about the
reaction -- gotta love lactnet!)
