I have been asked if there are any policies about hospitals allowing 
breastfed babies to be admitted to hospital when the mother is admitted. For 
example, mother needs elective surgery or mother has an emergency admission 
(not in the postpartum period).
I can't think where this is referred to or written, so would appreciate any 
information.
