I received a call from a mom today, absolutely panicked.  Her 6 1/2 month old baby is cutting his two lower teeth.  Mom noticed that they are yellow stained.  She hasn't taken meds of any kind during preg. or breastfeeding.  She called the Dental Association and the person she talked to said it sounded like "bottle caries" which of course sent this mom over the edge because of all the nasty pictures she's seen of this. This baby is breastfeeding and gets pumped milk sometimes from dad. Can anyone comment on this, perhaps, Dr. Page?  She has an appointment with a pediatric dentist next week.  Thanks!!
