I had a little guy in my practice who was dx with Horner syndrome.  He
was a twin, and was not an instrumental birth.  Perhaps it was a little
crowded in there.  His twin sister sucked perfectly, he had difficulties
at first, but improved with time and lc assistance.  How hard for
Nikki's client to feel that her son's case might have been preventable.
Moms generally do find a way to blame themselves for any difficulties
their children have, warranted or not.
