Hi,

I just subscribed to Lactnet. I am the lactation consultant and a mother-baby
nurse at a local hospital. One of my support systems is through an
organization supporting and promoting breastfeeding in Northeast Georgia
named Community Breastfeeding Coalition. The members are nurses, WIC staff, a
dietician, midwives, and LLL leaders. I am quite interested in staff
development because my colleagues are getting pretty good at helping moms and
babies and I want them to get better.

I am also a student in a Family Nurse Practitioner program. Beside the
support from fellow students, I have a husband who is a high school science
teacher and a 15 year old daughter. We have two dogs who are happy and two
cats who are cats.

I read the messages this morning and picked up some things to think about and
things to do.

Bye,
Becky Engel, RN, IBCLC
