Haven't run into this before so I need the wisdom of all to assist this new family.

Neonate up for adoption, birth mother gone, adoptive parents in from out of state. Baby needs to stay 5-7 days in hospital due to unforseen reasons. The adoptive Mom has had frozen (sort of) expressed breast milk sent it to her by a "friend" from out of state. did NOT feed to neonate. ***Milk bank not involved.**** She wants her friend to send more.

I have very deep feelings about this situation. Anyone have a similiar situation before and if so, what was your result? Thank you for taking the time to respond.
