I had the same thought with regards to moms who pump for very premature
babies in the NICU. At times they are filling up the freezer while the
baby is getting such tiny amounts.. but then 5 or 6 weeks out, the baby
is still very premature, and the mother's supply is starting to fall
off. I hate to tell these moms to slow their pumping down when their
supply is so high, only to have to work to get it back up later on. How
do other NICU's handle this?
