Juliet, Theoretically, long term Antibiotic use diminishes the Good Bacteria in the gut and mouth, Probiotics, so I could see how over time, the Milk with the Antibiotic in it is causing bad bacteria to proliferate in the Infant's gut and mouth. From a dental perspective it is the Bad Bacteria that causes gingivitis, bad breath, plaque formation etc, so perhaps she should take a break from Antibiotics if possible and/or supplement herself , and/or Infant's mouth with Probitoics Powder, they make Probiotic powder for Newborns/infants, Lisa Mooney CNM MSN IBCLC
