Mary,
Even though your local library doesn't have JHL, they might be willing to at
minimum order a sample issue.  I asked my local library to order a sample
issue, which is free to them, and when it came in they decided it was too
technical for our library and gave me the issue to keep.  BTW it was the
newest edition out.  Maybe your library would deem it a good addition to
their collection.  If you go to this link there is an order form that you
can print out and take to your library to send in.
