Hello Lactnetters,
I keep meaning to post this and finally have a few minutes. There is some
good info about fortifiers in the "Clinics in Perinatology",
Neonatal/Perinatal Nutrition, Volume #22, Number !, March 1995. Address is
Periodicals Order Fulfillment Dept.
WB Saunders Company, 6277 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, FL 32821-9816. One
chapter is "Suitability of Human Milk for the Low-Birthweight Infant" written
by Richard J. Schanler, MD. Good stuff. Also the audiotape from this year
ILCA "Human Milk: Fortification for the Preterm Infant" by Craig Jensen,
PhD has valuable information. Order from Repeat Performance tape # 110.
(219) 465-1234. (Indiana).
