Permission to post: received a call from a mom w/ 6 mo nursing babe. She recently had LW which came back with CA+ levels of 10.4 and 10.8 (normal range is usually up to 10.5) She is in a panic because dr mentioned Multiple myeloma etc -she feels fine has no symptoms to speak of. Most of the info regarding breastfeeding is about decreased calcium not increase. Usually with cancer the levels are much higher. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
