I try to share Lactnet with other LC's.  We just recently met as the Eastern
Virgingian Breastfeeding Task Force to plan for our conference & world
breastfeeding week.  I needed the list "how to  subscribe to Lactnet" to
present this method of communication with our Lactnet sisters and any
brothers out there.  I would appreciate this.  By the way just when I thought
it was tuff in the nursery concerning BF, the labor deck paged me twice to
assist 2  mothers to initiate BF.  A day that history was made.  Believe it
or not, just as this baby was BF & the nsy knew it was, there was a mistake
made in the paperwork & the baby got f.  There is a mission for a LC in the
Nsy but that's in my future.   Again as I am struggling with Nsy, there are 3
women scattered through the hall, the staff locker women, & the closet we
call the BF room   feeding their babies.  The nsy is freaking out because I
requesred an order to cupfeed a nipple confused baby who is hospitlizied for
antiobiotic tx.  I wish I was more graceful with these confrontations.
 Practice is helping.  Believe me I get plenty of practice.  I feel like a BF
warrior when I go into the nursery.
