This is interesting because my daughter just had her gallbladder removed via
laparoscopy last month when granddaughter was 10 months and still only
breastfeeding. She was nursing a lot as the only food mom could tolerate
for the two weeks prior were select fruits and veggies-no animal foods as
the fat would put her into an attack-and her pumped milk looked like skim.
The only skipped feeding was while daughter was in recovery. She breastfed
her baby soon as she was home. A dear friend breastfed our baby at the
hospital for the one missed feed. Our baby was perfectly happy that day to
entertain and be entertained in the waiting area.
