I talked to a lady today who is 49 years old and is expecting to adopt
in June or so. She breastfed 2 children 20 years ago for 7-8 months
each. She has had a hysterectomy including ovaries and is taking
hormone replacement therapy. What effect will this have on inducing
lactation. I have never helped anyone with adopted breastfeeding and am
in the process of getting up to date on this issue. I was just
wondering before I get too far, about the issue of the hysterectomy.

Thanks,
