I just have to post to praise Debi's wonderful efforts getting residents
excited about breastfeeding. One of the most important jobs we do, or
potentially can do, is teach. There are still too few of us to impact all
the mothers who need breastfeeding support, and educating other health
professionals to do a better job at this is such a profound way to touch the
future. Our profession is so lucky to have gifted teachers like Debi. A
very appropriate use of lactnet is to share ideas like hers which have
successfully gotten groups excited. I know I have shamelessly stolen Linda
Smith's good ideas over the years, and I'll probably swipe yours too, Deb.
(BTW, I do try to give credit when I "borrow";)
