Emotion Lotion becomes warm when applied, sort of like Ben-Gay's "penetrating
warmth."  I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending Emotion Lotion to a new
mom experiencing vaginal dryness due to lactation.  I'd be concerned about
the 'warmth' ingredient.  Also, there are lots of tasty brands:  cinnamon,
chocolate, mint....  I wouldn't recommend those either.  And then there's the
ones with spermicide....
More ingredients=more chances of adverse reactions.

Yes, it is difficult to get the word "Astroglide" out of one's mouth, but
gee, we've all mastered 'breast' and  'nipple'.  We've said them at the
dinner table, in polite society and (gasp!) in front of our dear, mortified
children.  If Walmart is carrying it, we ought to be able to recommend it
with some degree of comfort.  It has that down-home Middle America Walmart
Seal of Approval.  Maybe it even has the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.


I do think it's a more appropriate choice than K-Y in these cases.  It is
less messy, longer lasting and has more slick stuff in it.
