What are the standards for levels of triglycerides in premature babies?  And
albumen?  How do we know they are elevated?  Are we comparing values to
those of premature babies fed on formula?  Or exclusively breastfed
premature babies who are not growing?  Careful about making conclusions if
we are.  You can't have everything, and you have to decide which tack is
best.  Formula fed premature babies not getting antibodies?  Why is that
okay, why do we not stop formula because of that?  Because not getting
antibodies for a few weeks does not have an effect on the baby?  But that
does have an effect on the baby, sometimes fatal.  What effect does high
triglycerides have on the baby?  Maybe those high triglycerides is a
temporary phenomenon, until the baby's metabolic system learns to handle the
load.
