Probably what she is referring to is the experiments done by consumer's
union.  A cow's milk concoction (simulated formula, their words) was
boiled in polycarbonate baby bottles, and some plasticizing chemical
leached into the milk.  The FDA responded with data showing that there
is no leaching under normal handling conditions from polycarbonate baby
bottles.
Especially if we are talking about human milk, no one is going to be
boiling it!
The issue with the bottle liners is that they are not air tight, so milk
reputedly does not keep as long.  And they do occasionally burst in the
freezer.
