Thank you for this post I thought you would enjoy my story as well.  All 3 of my children slept with me until they were ready to go into their own beds (where many nights i slept with them) Anyway about 5 years ago I had a medical scare and needed surgery (they thought I had ovarian cancer) Of course this was just one year after having breast cancer and undergoing bilateral mastectomies!  So we had been through a lot already.  
My oldest daughter was 24 yo living and working in NYC. When she came to see me in the hospital after the surgery....the first thing she did was climb onto my bed, lay next to me and put her head on my chest......no words were necessary.
