Dear Lactnutters

I have just had my fix of lactnet for this week.

I have had ten replies from NICU LCs who are working in the area

9 from USA and one from England
Most are young mothers balancing breastfeeding and NIcu part time work.


I have attempted to reply to all of  the personal ones but am too tired to
finish tonight.

I believe there is a big gap in education about breastfeeding in NICU.

Some of the letters confirm this notion.

For example some are successful at persuading others to breastfeed preemies
but others feel they are banging their heads against a brick wall.

I hope to have a more general reply in the next few days.
