When a mother insists in supplementing, this option (limited amounts,
given after breastfeeding and for limited time) may be a useful alternative -
with clear instructions (Plan, Rationale, Duration) and appropriate (within
24 hours after discharge) follow-up.

Hello all,
I think a very important aspect of this type of plan might also be use of a
generic formula, to counteract the extreme trust/loyalty that families get
very quickly when it comes to formula use. Will hospitals ever get there?
Moving away from marketing of specific companies?

Just a thought,
Peace,
