Hello to all,

I hope everyone that participated in the Babies-R-Us Medela BRF seminar on
Saturday was well received.

I have been doing "free" seminars for BRU forever and also did the Medela
thing last year as well.  One point is that Medela decreased the payment to
$ 200 from $250.

My other issue is that BRU has a new woman that handles education.  The last
time I did a seminar for her I came in to find Mylar BRU balloons weighted
down by baby bottles (filled with sand) and pacifiers!!!!!  I explained my
concerns in a very positive way.  However, apparently her years of continued
smoking have decreased brain cells, b/c when I got there Saturday there were
eight (8) tables set up with balloons at every table.  Two of the bouquets
were weighted down with very large Hershey kisses but all of the others had
the blasted bottles & pacis!  Needless to say I was NOT happy.  When I
talked to her again she said, "But they are so cute!"  She absolutely
REFUSED to remove them!  I nearly spit I was so angry.  Thankfully, there
was another BRU employee helping. When she heard our conversation she had
the intelligence (thank the Lord) to take tri-fold handouts and wrap & tape
them around to cover the bottles!  Saved...........But what am I going to
say to this woman when I come back and find bottles and pacis again?
