I have to wonder about the Ameda-Hollister Purely Yours as it is a closed
set-up so that the pump can't be infected. Is this also a pump that
shouldn't be auctioned or just the Pump In Style?

I find this rather scary. If some virusses can get lost within the pump they
can
re-infect the principle users as well. Bacteria might get lost as well and
in
the absence of a good way to sterilize there seems to be the possibility
that
the pump is not safe for the first-hand users neither.
But I think the real trick is here:
> Multiple use of single-user breastpump automatically voids the

Could it not be just a commercial interest to sell more pumps?
And if this:

were thrue, momswould have to buy a new pump for each day, because:

I do not *promote* the use of second-hand pumps, but if asked, I'll inform
moms
about infections and hygiene (boiling to sterilise etc.), tell'm the
manufacturers point of view and leave the decision to them.
