I seem to remember some old research data on diabetic moms having babies born
with edema. There were a couple that looked at the type of IV fluids used in
labor and neonatal edema.
I think it really old research (like maybe 1950 or 1960s) because it was old
information when I went to nursing school.
Just an idea for people who want to look into this phenomena.
