Just found out this morning that my local CBS station will not be airing the
Medela VNR.

There is an article in the Sacramento Bee this morning talking about the
issue. THeir web address is www.sacbee.com . The article is on the
front page of the Scene section (section S, page 1). In the article it
states that Parenting Magazine claims that 5% of all women have low milk
syndrome. We all know that this is inaccurate, don't we?? :)

How many other local papers are carrying stories about this? What I find
funny is that CBS and the producers of CH can't figure out why there is so
much hoopla. One quote from Dawn Prestwich (co-exec producer) is states "We
do things that are much more controversial and you never hear anything."
Said Prestwich. "Last year we did a show on a woman who was HIV+ and wanted
to get pregnant, and we didn't hear a word from anybody." They keep saying
they are pro-BF, but I still don't understand how they can be with this type
of storyline. It will be interesting to see the show and see what really is
going on. I don't normally watch this show, but I guess I will tonight!
Then we can respond properly to what they actually show.
