We have both the Lactinas & the Symphony pumps at my hospital. I have 
been slowly replacing the lactinas with symphony pumps as the moms & the 
staff like them so much better. I find that the Symphony's 2 phase pumping 
really makes a difference in the time that it takes the moms to pump, so they 
are more likely to pump more often and thus build up a better milk supply for 
their babies in NICU. Also the fast phase pumping seems to be better at 
empting the Colostrum from the breast.
