them around class in the bag."

Wonderful!  It sounds as if you have thought through the safety issues.  But
as much as we like the tool, we still have to be mindful that marbles are
not the ideal thing to have around young children, even in ziplock bag.  If
used in a patient home or room, the entire bag could be left behind and the
child open the bag with the same possible results.  While mistakes don't
happen often, they do occassionally occur.
My mother always said "the older you get, the more you will see danger!"
I'm afraid, as I settle into my mid 50's, that she was right!
