OK, this is going to be of limited help, but there was an article in a Leaven
from some time in the past 2 years that covered this topic, including
research references.  Unfortunately, I cannot tell you which Leaven, but if
you can find someone who has a collection of them, they have an index in the
last issue of the year.  The article did state that colostrum was the best
treatment for hypoglycemia, but you should try to find the article to get
details.  (I don't have the magazine, it was a borrowed copy which I have
returned.  I was interested in the subject since my first son was diagnosed
as hypoglycemic--ended up on an IV)
