Ursodiol is a naturally occurring bile salt. It thus would not be
absorbed in significant amounts into the mother's body.  It should be
fine for a breastfeeding mother.

This is not a usual treatment for thyroid disease.  It is supposed to be
used to breakup gallstones, though whether it does or not I have no
idea.
