I work in a small OB dept. I have been there for 31 years. After 2 yrs.
of breastfeeding courses and many hours of study I wrote the IBC exam
last year and passed it. I am also a CCE, so I help teach prenatal
classes. Our hospital has a letter for intent for Baby Friendly, so we
are up on breastfeeding.
What I am looking for is any new information that might have come out in
the last year about low BS in newborns. Our policy is to feed babies
with BS below 40%. The method of delivery is as big of a concern as the
formula at this point. Any info will be wonderful.
