Very well worded, Valerie, and I agree with most of it and I feel a need to
act a bit less arrogant ans superior feeling.
But.
It is not hte AIF industrie that is to blame when mothers look for
alternatives to breastfeeding. Throughout history there is evidence that
women who could afford it would feed their children in other ways or make
other women breastfeed their children. There are ancient artificial infant
feeding devices and recipies for gruels, milksunstitutes (like almond milk)
and milkdilutions.
But yes, AIF industry has done a ''great'' job in magnifying this behaviour
throughout the population.
