I heard Noble and Bovey talking about this. They suggested subtle
positioning changes to re-direct the spray of milk away from the point
that initiates the gag reflex.they said imagine the milk coming out like
a  water pistol hitting the back of the throat. Making a small
positional change can move that jet to another area that won't cause the
baby any discomfort.
