 can you call and ask him to explain this to yoiu as it it something you are
not familiar with? you might start by thank ing him for his support and
encouragement of her bfeeding....

  certianly it is more easily quantified but.... if mom does not let down
easily for the pump she may well have a "less rich" feed for tha baby than if
ithe baby were at the breast.  addionally she is facing the added expence of
both kit and rental....
